Progressive Board Session – Light

Problem selection:

For this workout, you will repeat problems on a board of your choice, around 40 degrees overhanging. The problems should be 2-3 grades below your max on that board; you should send on ALL the any feet reps and most of the set reps. If you don’t have problems 2-3 grades below your max on that board, try a different board, change the angle or talk to me about possible variations.

Climbing:

For each problem, you’ll climb it twice: the first time, with open feet, and the second time with the specified feet for the problem. Try to use a mix of familiar and new problems. Continue rotating through problems for the specified number of reps.

Rest until recovered before each attempt. This means at least 2-3 minutes. Use a timer if you need to.

Combination:

This is a general session and can be combined with any session. Perform after warming up and before any conditioning.
