Progressive Board Session B

Problem selection:

For this workout, you will try to repeat problems on a board of your choice, around 40 degrees overhanging. The problems should be from 1-2 grades below your max to at your max on that board; you will probably fall a lot, but should send at least the easier problems.

Climbing:

You will alternate between problems you’re familiar with, and new problems. For each problem, you’ll try to climb it twice: the first time, with open feet, and the second time with the specified feet for the problem. So: old problem open feet, old problem limited feet, new problem open feet, new problem limited feet, etc. Continue rotating through problems for the specified number of reps.

Rest 1-3 min between each attempt. You may try each combination a few times, especially if you fall near the beginning. If you fall more than 2-3 times on a given rep, move on.

Combination:

This is a general session and can be combined with any session. Perform after warming up and before any conditioning.
