Board Blitz 10

(Note: 10 is the goal, but this session may also be programmed as top 6, top 8, etc.)

Focus/goal:

The goal of this session is basically to perform a Top 10 session but time-constrained. Problems might need to be easier, and ideally, you’ll be familiar with them. (i.e. they won’t be your TOP 10.)

Unless otherwise specified, the goal is to complete the 10 climbs in 1 hour.

Session structure:

Unlike the classic Top 10 session, all your climbs should be “category 1” – things you can repeat in 2-3 tries. However, a few climbs harder than that is also OK, provided they don’t tank your effort on the other climbs and/or you move on when appropriate.

Have your 10 problems in mind before you start. Each effort should be intentional and high quality. If you can do all 10 problems first try, they were probably a tiny bit easy for the session and you can trade some out. If you only do a handful, they were probably a bit too hard and you can ease up next time.

Keep track of your 10 problems over time. Like with the classic Top 10 session, when you perform this session over months or longer, the benefits will continue to accumulate as the difficulty increases.

Keep the session high quality and be humble and honest with yourself.
