Problem selection:
Select problems of the difficulty indicated on your plan, or make up problems of that difficulty on a wall of 0-40 degrees. Start with easier problems to understand the goal of the drill.
In some cases the nature of the problem (dynos etc.) may make it difficult to perform the drill. Just do the drill on moves where it’s sensible, or select problems where you can do the drill on as many moves as you can.
Focus:
On each move, focus on getting the hips as close to the wall as possible during each hand movement. This may not always be the most economical way to do the move, and that’s also good feedback.
On steeper walls, where more momentum is required, your hips may only be close to the wall for a brief instant. However, ensuring that they do get close to the wall at that instant is the goal of the drill.
On less steep walls, you should be able to get into position close to the wall before moving your hand and maintain that position through the move.
Combination:
This is a general session and can be combined with any session. Perform after warming up and before any conditioning.
